ELECTRIC OUTBOARDS

The Shire range of electric outboard motors is a result of many years of extensive research, development, and testing. There are currently three models available: 6, 10 and 20hp. These 48v outboards have a variable speed range that can be locked making them ideal an ideal option for commercial and hire-fleet applications.

 

 

 

 

 

MARINE HYBRID PROPULSION

Hybrid Marine has been developing advanced hybrid systems since 2002, providing systems for inland canal boats, commercial barges and sailing boats, including fast offshore sailing catamarans.

With an increasing demand from boatbuilders generated by Hybrid Marine, the company recognised the need to upscale. A new joint venture between Barrus and Hybrid Marine, Hybrid Marine International, was created in January 2024.
